Menighetti Parvis has been tasked with the architectural programming of the French Consulate building in Rio de Janeiro by the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs through the Tryptique-Arcadis-Boutté consortium.

Located in the heart of Rio de Janeiro, in the historic and economic district of Centro, Casa Europa, formerly Maison de France, is a major European administrative centre accommodating ten departments of the French Consulate over its the 13 floors.

The project aims to refurbish the building and rethink its functions so that it can accommodate the Goethe Institute and a Franco-German media library while providing for the relocation of the current occupants.

The study was launched in January and is expected to last five months, thus allowing for the optimal organization of the operation.
